Dutch Bros is all about connecting to their community. Turns out, over 69% of GenZ - the majority of Dutch Bros target demographic - regularly enjoys anime. So Dutch Bros is partnering with Crunchyroll to put a kawaii twist on their new line of matcha flavors. Throughout the year this Dutch Bros stunt will debut a custom anime heroine for each matcha flavor, along with a full-length anime TV series.
Matcha Secretive Girls will air once a month on Crunchyroll as a limited series inspired by Dutch Bros famous matcha concoctions. Matcha Secretive Girls will follow the life of Hayato as he discovers an ancient battle between Matcha and Coffee. Each episode introduces a new Secretive Girl as they battle manifestations of caffeinated energy.

Each month as their episode drops on Crunchyroll, the Matcha Secretive Girls will arrive in stores as a limited edition collectible cups that highlight their uniforms and personality.In addition, a drop of Blind Box MSG collectibles will show up in stores and online. About 85% of each shipment will contain the month’s highlighted Girl, but the other 15% will include limited characters such as Big Sis, Coffee, and Hiyato, as well as very rare drops of upcoming Girls.
Throughout the months, the Dutch Bros drive-thru into all access HQ for the MSG squad. Featuring fun animations and giant installations, your local DB gets a whole new life.

EP. 1: THE GIRL FROM MA’TCHA
Loveable nobody Hayato Ikari finds his world turned upside down when he discovers that his school is a battleground between the forces of Matcha, led by Big Sis and her league of alien warriors posing as transfer students, and Coffee.
On a field trip to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Hayato discovers that Coffee is trying to take over the park and must stop it with Murasaki, an eclectic plant lover.
EP. 3: LIVE AND IN COLOR (GREEN)
Coffee is trying to create a brainwashing signal from the top of Tokyo Tower. Only Hayato and Hikaru can stop it.
EP. 4: ARCADE UNDER FIRE
After trying to blow off some steam with his best friend Yuu at the arcade, Hayato’s day is ruined by a rogue arcade automaton controlled by Coffee. He must work together with Michi to stop it, who was also taking the day off.
EP. 5: PUBLIC PLANSPORTATION
While on the train to school, Coffee begins turning commuters into horrible caffeine zombies. Can Hayato and Koharu stop Coffee in time before they reach Tokyo station?
EP. 6: HOUSE PARTY OF HORRORS
After receiving a cryptic invite from the most popular girl in school, Hayato finds himself teamed up with Natsuko at a house party where everyone is acting strange. Together, they must solve this mystery while while hiding everything from Hayato’s crush.
EP. 7: SUN DON’T SHINE IN THE CITY
After seemingly defeating Coffee at Masako’s house, Hayato is living a happy peaceful life. But when Coffee returns and blocks out the sun with a coffee tsunami, Hayato must return to fight alongside Hikaru, Michi, Natsuko, and her twin Natsumi, an unassuming girl with a blinding bright side.
EP. 7.2: WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS
Having lost all his allies to Coffee’s influence, Hayato is found by Hana and together with Naomi and Yuu - who now knows Hayato’s secret - the four of them work to free the others and save Tokyo.
EP. 8: LULL IT BY
With Naomi having left him and after losing Yuu to coffee, Hayato travels to Mount Kumotori. But his journey gains an unwanted companion in the form of Mumei, a clueless crackshot intent on helping him achieve his quest, whatever that may be.
EP. 9: HOME RUN FOR YOUR LIVES
At their school’s championship baseball game, Hayato and Chie notice that the opposing team seem to be far stronger than any normal high schooler should be. Only coffee could be the culprit.
